Supervision is both an ethical responsibility and a profound practice of ongoing
formation for spiritual companions and directors. It supports depth, accountability, and sustainability in the ministry of accompaniment.
Supervision offers a reflective space in which spiritual directors can explore their
relationships with those they accompany, attend to their own inner movements, and deepen their capacity for presence, discernment, and compassionate response.
At its heart, supervision is a practice of growing in self-knowledge in service of more faithful accompaniment of others.
